Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing direct recruiting assistance to designated client groups. In addition, this role will partner with key external organizations to advance recruitment opportunities for FedWriters.

Help grow the company, one hire at a time.

Recruiter Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruit for both active contracts and proposal positions across a wide array of Federal Government agencies.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the director of operations to meet business objectives.
  • Proactively establish and identify recruiting process enhancements to ensure strong candidate pipeline for multiple skillsets.
  • Prioritize recruiting activities (sourcing, interview days, offer management, etc.).
  • Assist managers with defining and validating key position requirements (e.g., defining education, experience, technical knowledge, and competencies).
  • Source, screen, and manage candidates.
  • Craft and communicate recruiting strategies and provide timely updates to hiring managers.
  • Conduct phone screens for all candidates submitted.
  • Track candidate and requisition progress.
  • Review interviewers' recommendations and participate in selection hiring discussions.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and extend new hire offers.
  • Ensure all contingencies are met prior to new hire orientation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 - 3 years of proven experience in recruiting or sales.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications
  • Results-oriented, customer-service focused, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to actively provide recruiting support to multi-site operations and capable of effectively building positive work partnerships with geographically dispersed individuals in multiple staff levels.

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree.
  • Client management/advisory skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Recruiting experience in a corporate setting supporting government contracts and in recruiting candidates with clearances.
  • Familiar with ATS
  • An understanding of compensation and benefits from a recruiting standpoint.

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Normal business hours Monday - Friday, EST
  • Position is remote
  • Majority of time is spent sitting; extensive use of computer/computer terminal.
