Responsibilities Include:

  • Produce artwork in a timely and finished quality for daily communications products delivered to officials at the highest level of government.
  • Provide design and layout services to create finished work for briefing products, guides, manuals, programs, flat panel displays and seals/logos for interactive briefing products used for internal and external conferences and ceremonies.
  • Provide the ability to interpret customer requirements, identify the most efficient presentation of communications products and develop concepts that communicate information consistent with DIA style guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely and independently with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
  • Produce concepts, script, storyboard, schedule, and deadlines for select forms of media for projects.
  • Provide expertise level of encoding and most effective output (CODEC) method for the delivery of final video files for podcasting.
  • Obtain and maintain Data Transfer Officer (DTO) authorities within 60 days of being staffed onsite and provide data transfer services between networks.
  • Provide a response to a customer within one business day of contact.
  • Review requirements and seek clarification of any requirement within one week of review.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia video content for podcasting.
  • Independent design consultation and customer interaction.
  • Actively partake in and oversee pre-production, production, and post-production (editing) on assigned video projects.
  • Record and edit video and sound projects:
    • Select program format for final output.
    • Capture/import media, organize raw media, edit footage, and sound files.
    • Create and insert static and motion graphics.
    • Add music/voice-over, media management and archive project media.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience.
  • An active TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance.
  • CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required in the performance of this contract.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Adobe Suite, PhotoShop, InDesign.
  • The ability to design, layout, and to produce quality artwork for communications products delivered to officials at the highest level of government, including interactive briefing products, guides, manuals, programs, flat panel displays, and
  • Provide expertise level of encoding and most effective output (CODEC) method for delivery of final video files for podcasting.
  • Actively partake in and oversee pre-production, production, and post-production (editing) on assigned video projects.
  • Record and edit video and sound projects.

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday to Friday, during normal business hours.
  • Work is to be performed primarily onsite at DIA HQ in Washington, DC.
  • On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures.
