Job Title: Marketing Director/Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptive individual who can help take public perception of our government customer, 1st Cavalry Division, to the next level. If you are a creative thinker with a passion for marketing, we want to hear from you!

The purpose of this position is to provide marketing direction and marketing team supervision for our government customer. They will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans, managing promotional campaigns, and overseeing the division's website and social media presence. In addition, they will also be responsible for supervising a team of marketing professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, communications, video production, and public relations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as lead supervisor for the rest of the contract personnel and oversee the overall execution of the contract
  • Developing and managing communication campaigns while assisting with communication strategy development, planning, and execution
  • Focusing efforts on effective communications to improve the public's understanding of 1CD and FHTX by informing the force and community through traditional, digital, and social media mediums.
  • Researching and analyzing Fort Hood and surrounding communities
  • Overseeing, planning, directing, and coordinating communication, marketing, and social media efforts
  • Developing communications strategies to address negative perceptions about the customer
  • Managing daily workflow, assigning project workloads, and monitoring deadlines and budgets
  • Identifying key audience demographics developing communication strategies

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A favorable National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) investigation OR a valid Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing and running a marketing team
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal business hours
  • Work is to be performed at 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters, Building 28000, Battalion Ave., Fort Hood, Texas
  • On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures
