Job Title: Videographer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and experienced videographer who can help take public perception of our government customer, 1st Cavalry Division, to the next level.

In this role, you will be responsible for shooting and editing video content for a variety of purposes, including marketing, training, and events. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to ensure that all video content meets our high standards and represents the customer in a positive light. If you are a passionate and skilled videographer with a strong sense of storytelling, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with a team of communication specialists
  • Understanding 1st Cav's needs and working creatively to produce desired video products
  • Developing video content, from concept through editing, to be published through government platforms and channels
  • Creating video content for broadcast productions, including pre- and post-match shows
  • Continuously aiding the team in searching for new content opportunities to drive engagement and deliver value
  • Reviewing the performance of video content across digital channels

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A favorable National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) investigation OR a valid Secret clearance
  • 4 years of experience working in ideating, producing, editing, and publishing video content
  • High proficiency with video production equipment, animation and editing tools, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Audition
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Consistent track record of developing and implementing successful video campaigns
  • Able to process information quickly and accurately with a strong attention to detail

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal business hours
  • Work is to be performed at 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters, Building 28000, Battalion Ave., Fort Hood, Texas
  • On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures
